Nice presser foot.

I had posted earlier that I had purchased a Curve Master 1/4" . I received it the mail today, and was excited to see whether it would fit on my ancient, 1978 Brother Pacesetter 3001XL...
I love the lady on the front of the manual.
"Every woman wants to be her and sew like her. Brother XL3001. Cha-cha-cha!"
Well, down to the basement I went with my new little toy, eager to see if it would fit my machine. Through the boxes and chaos I rooted, looking for a scrap of fabric and said sewing machine. Lo and behold - it fits with one of the included adapters. IT FITS! And, better than it fitting, IT WORKS. This just made my month.

Then I got to thinking. Parts are becoming more and more scarce for my 80lb tank sewing machine. Ok, it's not 80lbs, more like 40. But still. It's nearly impossible to find feet to fit it (it took me a year to find a walking foot that would actually work on it); it doesn't have a quilting table, which I don't need but would love. So I've been looking at newer machines. But I don't want to spend a fortune.

I'm thinking of this one:
Brother CS6000i

...comes with a butt load of accessories, 7 presser feet (including a walking foot), 60 computerized stitches and a quilting table extension.
Currently it sits on my Amazon wishlist. Off to do more research...

    1. Hi Gilad,
Unfortunately, I have no way to contact you so hopefully you'll check back here.

Regrettably, my manual was destroyed in a basement flood last year. I'm so sorry I couldn't help you out!

      Thanks for stopping by!
