Tip: Pre-washing precuts (strips)

6:49:00 PM

Here's a tip for today.

Some quilters like to pre-wash their fabrics prior to quilting with it - I'm one of these people.

If you want to pre-wash your jelly-roll strips, use a laundry bag. That way your strips won't end up wrapped around the agitator in your washing machine.

I picked this one up at Target for about $5.

Happy quilting!

  1. Good to know! I avoid pre-washing at all cost, unless it's flannel!
BTW, thanks for stopping by my blog. I tried responding, but couldn't reach you by email because of your email settings:(

Sorry about the settings - I have other blogs I don't want public, so when you click my user name ('Blogger'), it's a private profile.
I usually try to leave my blog address and email address with every comment - I'm so sorry I didn't this time! (mummy-brain? :D )
Anyway! Thanks for popping by! Happy quilting :)
