Some quilters like to pre-wash their fabrics prior to quilting with it. 


If you want to pre-wash your jelly-roll strips or smaller precuts, use a laundry bag. That way your strips won't end up wrapped around the agitator in your washing machine. This would also work wonders for smaller scrap pieces you need to wash.

I picked this one up at Target for about $5.
