The Double Z Block: Classic meets Modern QAL, APRIL!

4:00:00 AM

Happy April 1, everyone!

There'll be no foolin' around today as we get ready to quilt along again for the month of April!

This month we'll be tackling a much simpler, but equally beautiful, 12.5" block called the Double-Z (or Brown Goose) block.

There are two orientations for the block, the more traditional with an hour glass shape in the center,

and the alternative with a pinwheel in the center:

...but of course, ultimate orientation and composition of the block you create is up to you!

Here are the instructions for this month's block, The Double-Z {click here}

**Remember the links to block instructions for this and past month's are located in the menu bar to the right of the blog**

Don't forget to upload your creations to the Classic meets Modern Flickr group, and link them up below so that you can inspire other QAL'ers!

As well, remember to follow with Bloglovin' to never miss a post :)

I truly cannot wait to see what you all come up with for this month's block!
