The Dresden Plate: Classic meets Modern QAL, MAY!
7:30:00 AM
Hi all! Happy May 1, and here's the next block in the Sew at Home Mummy "Classic meets Modern" Quilt Along!
If you're coming across this QAL for the first time, the links to the monthly block posts and patterns are in the right sidebar of the blog.
Each month I post the pattern to a traditional block and challenge you to put a modern spin on it. Once you've created your block, feel free to link up your block in the link-up at the bottom of each month's post. As well, we have a Flickr group! Make sure to upload it there, too!
This month is the Dresden Plate. April showers bring May flowers, right? Bring on the beautiful blocks!
Now don't be worried! The blocks are a lot easier than you think; and I've included two (three ideas, really!) patterns as ideas for you. Take the ball and run with it!

And when you're done, link up your block below!
