A really warm welcome: Rose Room Quilts is in the house!

7:30:00 AM

Happy Thursday, everyone?

How's everyone's week been so far? Admittedly, here at the Davis household, it's been a bit of a gongshow. No different from any other week, really! *wink*

I am super stoked to be welcoming a brand new sponsor to the Sew at Home Mummy blog: everyone, meet Rose Room Quilts!!

Rose Room is an online, modern quilting fabric store based out of Greensburg, PA. Originally conceived in 2010 as a blog and Etsy shop, Cindy (the fabulous owner extraordinaire!) has since opened this online .com version, expanding her shop to host its own website.

Rose Room Quilts has a cool selection of fun modern quilting cottons from manufacturers such as Michael Miller, Riley Blake, Dear Stella and Windham Fabrics. Cindy stocks designer collection bundles and also designs her own custom bundles.

More can be found on Cindy and her awesome shop {here} on my Sponsors page.

Check out Rose Room Quilt's shipping policies {here} - they have really reasonable rates, and all orders ship within 2 days! Rose Room also ships internationally.

Rose Room's site is beautifully organized and very easy to follow and navigate; she has fabrics by Collection, Designer, and Manufacturer, as well as a dedicated Specials section. Rose Room also has Custom Bundles on their site!

Some of the custom bundles Cindy has in stock right now include....

The "Far Far Away" FQB (Heather Ross, Windham Fabrics) - this line is so cute. Absolutely perfect for any little girl in your life. I also love the little floral prints. I think they'd make an excellent bag, journal cover or zipper pouch. I love the unicorns. Too cute!

The "Boy Set" in Retro Colors (Michael Miller) - for the little boy in your life. I love this line - very midcentury modern, kind of a throw-back to the 50's and 60's with the palette (and I'm all about MCM lately). I love the retro look of orange and turquoise together and the retro rocket ships totally make this line!

And are you thinking Christmas yet? (eep! *insert panicked look here*) Just in time for the holidays, Cindy has some gorgeous Christmas bundles all ready to go! These ones are cool, on the modern side, and in a less traditional, funky color palette. Enter "Treelicious" by Maude Asbury for Blend Fabrics - kind of a Scandinavian-meets-super mod-meets-sixties color palette? Sort of? Love it!! A funky table runner would look awesome out of these.

So, while I was perusing Cindy's store, you know, checking out all of the deals, I thought it would be neat to build my own FQB from fabrics in her store!

Top L-R:
Water Chevron in Breeze |  Far Far Away Frog Prince  | Cotton Couture in GrassSmall Cream Dot in Aqua | Woodwinked Hearts in Pewter | Sunburst Orange
I especially love the orange print ("Sunburst Orange") and frog print ("Frog Prince") together. Too cute. The little pewter hearts are sweet, too.

A huge thanks to Cindy for sponsoring Sew at Home Mummy - and stay tuned: Rose Room will be sponsoring a fun giveaway in September!

Head on over and check Cindy at Rose Room Quilts out, then come back and tell me what you picked up!

Have an awesome day, everyone.
