I need my reader's help.

5:30:00 AM

I don't normally do things like this, but I thought it might be worth a shot.

I've created a MQG quilt design for the Cotton Couture challenge, and for the challenge, you must only use Cotton Couture solids.

Here's my problem:

I don't own any Cotton Couture. And the quilt I want to make requires every color from their line be used.

I'm wondering if any of my readers may have some Cotton Couture scraps they are willing to part with - I would most definitely pay for shipping, and I can definitely pay you for the scraps, too (perhaps by weight?).

And, they must be Cotton Couture.

I need some of every color from the line, and the scraps should measure at least 1.5" square - otherwise, any piece will do!

If you have some you'd like to pass on to me, you can email me {here} -

and if you're so inclined, feel free to pass along my needs to anyone quilty you may be chatting with hehehe.

I've also put this request out on Instagram, with the hashtag: sahmCCsearch

thank you SO much in advance everyone!

  1. I don't know how big the squares are but have you thought about ordering a color card -- I saw this one on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/listing/190519288/michael-miller-cotton-couture-color-card?ref=sr_gallery_33&ga_search_query=cotton+couture+michael+miller&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery) that way you would get all 133 colors

  2. Michael Miller is providing the fabric for the challenge participants. I didn't think you had to use all the colors, just not any fabric that is not part of the collection for the top.

    1. No, you don't have to use all fabrics, it's just the design that I cam up with requires I do. I thought I'd give this a shot, see if maybe some want to get rid of some scraps!
      Thanks Afton!

  3. No scraps here :) What about a charm pack)? They make two different ones of the colors.

  4. I may have a few pieces. The problem is the solids aren't marked with the brand and name the way fabric lines are, so I'll have to see if I can tell the difference. I will email you tonight and let you know what I have.
