The Ultimate Retro Aqua Kitchen Wishlist

4:19:00 PM

I'm always updating and adding to my wishlists across the interwebs in hopes that perhaps my husband will actually purchase something off of one of them for that upcoming special occasion.

Lately I've been searching for kitchen inspiration, things to jazz up our 1959 split level's cooking area. Admittedly I have been a bit bummed out about the lipstick-on-a-pig renovation that seems to be taking forever...

I sat down at my computer and started to have a bit of fun with color (and my editing programs), and here's the inspiration collage I came up with for a retro or vintage inspired aqua-themed kitchen! I've included Amazon.com affiliate links below to the products for your pajammy-shopping pleasure (what can I say, I'm an enabler...)

HUBBY! ARE YOU READING?? Oy.

I am especially in love with the clock, colander, scale, and that coffee maker - oh, that coffee maker is cool!

The kitchen gadgets and utensils are all really highly rated. And super cute.

I only included some of Kitchenaid's "Aqua Sky" line - for more from this series, click here. They have all sorts of aqua goodness going on.

I do love the freshness of this aqua or robin egg blue color. And the vintage-y goodness associated therein, of course.

I'm in love with the idea of adding little pops of color in the kitchen - stainless is cool and everything, but it's just so, everywhere, if you know what I mean? Why not express yourself with a bit of color!

Do YOU have any colored gadgets or appliances in your kitchen? Let's hear about it in the comments:

  1. I haven't got anything yet, but I keep dreaming of redoing my kitchen and using a color theme. I just can't decide between a few colors. I wonder have you ever seen this website? You can shop by color for any room in your home. Just hover over the color at the top of the page and it will give you areas of the home in the list to search for items of the color you want. I found this a few years back when it appeared I was going to be able to do the kitchen but I never got that opportunity them. I have not bought anything from this site, but it is sure fun to dream. http://decorbycolor.com/category/turquoise/
