Celebrate do.Good Stitches

10:52:00 AM

I've recently been honored with the task of helping construct quilts for charity through a flikr group called do.Good Stitches {a charity bee}. 'Faith', our circle of 10, makes quilts to benefit girls rescued from child trafficking via Restore Innocence. There are currently 21 circles making quilts for charities such as Project Linus, Wrap them in Love, and Project Night Night to name a few.

Our lovely and very busy organizer and moderator, Rachel, has started a little celebration for the do. Good group as an end of the year bash.

I think it's an absolutely fabulous idea! Thank you Rachel, and thanks to all of the sponsors offering up gifts.

So! The point of this post is.... to make you aware of do. Good, and if you're interested in constructing a couple of blocks a month for charity, or even if you're interested in being a group leader (so you'd be assembling blocks and completing the quilt), head on over there and fill out the form to join. Here's the link:

Happy stitching everyone!
