TIP: Machine Maintenance

7:23:00 PM

Here's a tip.

Every time I change a presser foot or start a new project, I take my can of compressed air (I picked it up at Target, but you could get it at WalMart or any office supply store. Cost me about $3):

..and blow out all of the lint from the casing assembly, feed dogs and top thread areas on my machine.
Spray it all out! Woot!

One thing to note: make sure to buy "Condensation FREE" compressed air and make sure to read your manufacturer's instructions on machine maintenance - some machines specifically say not to use compressed air.

  1. Ya that is a good idea. Where do you get the compressed air from?
