Hello all!

A special thank you to those who linked up for the first "Tips and Tricks Tuesdays" - much appreciated! I hope you all had fun, and experienced a few more hits on your sites because of it.

If anyone out there would like to host a Tuesday, please, feel free to email me (click the mail button and the top of the page) and we can set something up!

Linking up today with Work In Progress Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced! Click the button once you're done here and head over to see what Lee is up to, and a lot of my other fellow bloggers!

Oh my goodness - I've got so much on my plate right now!

Look at the chaos that is my sewing table:

On the table: fat quarter stack of Kate Spain's "Serenade" line; charm pack squares of Lauren & Jessie Jung's "Birds & Berries"; a buttload of Kona Snow; the computer so I can type up the instructions for my upcoming round for my bee...

In advance: I'm sorry to the Moda Gods. I am pairing your beautiful lines with Kona's solids. I'm sorry! I love your solids but my local quilt shoppe won't carry them, despite my requests... so Kona it is (and the Kona Gods: I do love your solids!)

Anywho!

Stacked to the right there is Kate Spain's Serenade. I LOVE that line. YUM. I paired it up with some Snow action, and man, this quilt is gonna look sexy.

Excuse the mess. Genius at work, lol.

Also on the docket...
the start of hopefully a beautiful stroller quilt for my little babe, an apple core pattern in Birds and Berries. Another gorgeous line! Look for a tutorial on this soon.

Also in the works: a Superman lap quilt for my hubby. Red, yellow and blue!

Ongoing projects:
* Birds & Berries stroller quilt
* Superman lap quilt
* Color Bee Shocked bee
* Buzzle Quilting bee
* Queen sized snowball quilt
* Quiltcon challenge

Happy quilting everyone!

  1. Sounds like you're busy! I almost hate to add a new stack of fabric to the mix. Provided I ever manage to get my act together and actually bring the fabric to work and then to the Post Office.

  4. My LQS also won't carry the Moda solids. So sad! But there are a ton of Konas so I suppose it makes sense. :) I can't wait to see what you make with the Serenade! Kate Spain is one of my favorite fabric designers. :D
