W.I.P. Wednesday: Stockings, continued
7:30:00 AMHi all!
Well, I'm still working on our new Christmas stockings - but, by next Wednesday, I hope to have them as well as my dining room curtains done and be working on the next project on the list!
On the design wall right now:
3 stocking fronts done, waiting to be quilted, trimmed & backed; my flying geese blocks from my Color Bee. |
I think they're gonna look cute when they're done! 3 down, 1 more to go! |
The previous tenant here painted the inside this rose/brick color, and it looked terrible (in my opinion...)
So, my plan was to re-paint it white on the interior, and then jazz it up a bit. So far, just the paint is done:
Hopefully I'll have it done by the weekend - we'll see - I have to dig some power tools out of the basement storage...he he. Girl power! Check back to see the finished product.
In other news!
December 24 I have a Moda Bakeshop feature being published on their blog, and I'll have the same post here as well! It's a great project - featuring that gorgeous line that everyone loves - Marmalade!!
As well, add a reminder to your calendar - starting December 9, I'll be having a giveaway, so check back to enter!
Over the next few weeks I'll be having a second giveaway - once I'm finished the paper-pieced stockings, there'll be a tutorial posted here with tips and prizes!

ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! I can't wait for you all to see the finished stockings - they're looking great!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your stockings. I just did ours although not so complicated. I just got back into sewing this week after almost 2 months (went on vacation and have been super busy since coming back). I am going to work on the bee blocks this week (they look great by the way). I have so much to catch up on.
ReplyDeleteTHank you! I can't wait to see your bee blocks!
